I'm following Lauren's lead today and sharing a project happening over at Vintch; she's creating a blogger mixed tape and asking only one question: what song is forever yours?
Somehow I was able to answer quickly, Fever Dream by Iron & Wine. It reminds me of the love of my life, and open windows with the breeze blowing through the curtains of my once was college home, of upcoming change, and
peace.
Not an official video of the song, but a simple story of a Lobsterman and a Gardner that I thought was so very special.
Like I said in our email, this song is so lovely. I think after our little conversation, I finally submit mine, Sweet Baby James. It really is amazing how a song can take you so many places.

ReplyDeletethank you (and you too lauren!!) for your song contributions and for the sweet shout-out. iron and wine sings my song too: passing afternoon. i think sam could sing the phone book and i would want it on a cd:) fever dream is such a gorgeous song. i remember playing it over and over on my way to class back in college. i am loving this list so far, and hearing the meaning behind everyone's song has been such a beautiful journey.
